Awww, thanks for the shout out!!! I try to pop on to The Nest, but since DH and I are so into triathlon training and not into making babies it seemed like I didn't have a fit on the Nest anymore. =(
We are good! Halligan is eating things that aren't his (like a dozen muffins, Cliff bars, Jon's bike helmet) and Jon is training for Ironman Lake Placid.
I'm training for a 148 mile bike ride from Boston to Windsor, VT on June 18th. The weather has been AWEFUL for training!!!!
I didn't get into a grad school. =( I was wait listed at Bowling Green, East Carolina, and U. of Florida, but no one REALLY wanted me. So, I found a professor at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand and she'd be willing to take me as her PhD student. She's researching non-dieting approaches to weight gain prevention. Since I researched intuitive eating for my MS thesis I fit in well with her research goals since she wants to design an online intervention. It's great to have someone that "wants" me, but I'm going to be super sad to be on the other side of the world since DH can only get a work visa for a year.
