So...yesterday DH and I put an offer in on a house that we really love. They have until tomorrow afternoon to get back to us and we are really hopeful (but trying not to get too excited).

We lost out to another contract...in the end, it is probably for the best. We were sacrificing square footage for some other amenities. After reflecting on it, we decided that square footage should really be a top priority because it is something we can't change about a property since we are primarily looking at townhouses.
Sigh...it is still a little sad even though we know it just means there is something better out there for us!

I would KILL to be on Property Virgins. Seriously. But then Juan might leave me because he has the hots for Sandra D'Amato (or however you spell her last name!). They have done the show in our area a few times, but we keep checking and they aren't coming back any time soon

I will say that watching HGTV has made this process really smooth for us. Our realtor was impressed with our knowledge/clear heads considering we are first timers
