dad is still in the hospital :(
So, he was getting better. And then he didn't.
It's been almost 2 weeks.
They did a CT scan, and it showed that his pancreas is just as inflamed as it was over a week ago.
His WBC is elevated. He was running a temperature last week, but they gave him 1 dose of antibiotics, and the temp went down (is 1 dose enough!?).
They're putting a stent in today to help fluids drain since his body isn't doing it for him.
I'm all stressed out and worried, and the worst part is that I can't be there--I have a final tomorrow (for my very last MS class!).
Mom's stressed to the max--she's been driving back and forth between their house and Philly (about an hour), and staying over most nights.
I just can't stand not being able to do ANYTHING. The helplessness is driving me nuts.

I am so sorry to hear that he is not better after all. I bet this is taking a toll on all of you, but try to stay positive. At least in the hospital he is in good hands 24/7
