What do you think about the link in link?

I can't believe that people would pass on the yearly exam. I have been going every year since I was like 16. Just because you think you are healthy doesn't mean you don't need to go!

Ditto. However this was not exactly a priority to my mom so I never went until I was out of her house. I did skip a year because I was tired of being poked and prodded and figured they had been up there enough to last another year.
I think this is just crazy. That would be like saying that because I am married now and we are monogamous that I would not need to have my yearly.
Also, is it just me or is it crazy the the post started out talking about getting "stretched" so sex wouldnt hurt as bad?
Yea I thought that was a little weird!

I didn't find it crazy because I had never heard of being able to do that before. I remember in Kinsey the wife was able to clip off something in her body to be able to enjoy it more and I would rather get stretched instead of cut.
A friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer at 21 and it was only because she went to her yearly exam that the mass was found in her breast. She was still a virgin at the time and was engaged to be married a year and a half later. She had to have agressive chemo and has yet to be 100% clear four years later.
That being said, my thoughts on this should be pretty easily deduced.
Um yes... wow seriously.

I don't know about all of you but my PCP has never given me a clinical breast exam so the only way I get them is by going in for a well women exam. They help with so many things besides pap smears!
Same here.
