Not that it matters but when was he killed?

I thought on the news last night it said he was killed last week...but cnn is reporting that he was killed YESTERDAY at 3:30 ET.  So...when was it?  I know last night the news said it took awhile for it to be reported that he had been killed because the DNA test took about a week.

End result is the same, I am just nosy!

I believe Obama said in his speech he was killed yesterday? It didn't give a time though. Before he announced it I had heard a lot of conflicting reports. Some said he had been dead for weeks and was killed by a bomb.

I read something this morning (can't find it now) that said he was killed around 8:30 EST Sunday night. It laid out a timeline of when they found his camp, when Obama ordered the attack and when they confirmed he was indeed dead.

Yeah - I think it happened yesterday. That's what the speech said, at least. They made quick work of identifying him...at first, I also heard he'd been killed a week ago.

Glad I have not gone crazy then.  I think CNN jumped the gun on a lot of details. I am just detail-oriented, I guess.

I read something today that said they were going to carry out the mission on Saturday night, but couldn't do so because of the weather. So, they went in first thing Sunday morning. So... from everything I've read, I believe it happend Sunday morningish?

I'm with you though - I like the details.

This is what I heard last night.  I thought they said he was killed last week but they were waiting on DNA confirmation, hence the week delay before going public.  Now I'm hearing that it was this weekend--pretty quick for DNA confirmation, but I'll take it.
