Pediatric neurologist recs...

We just got a letter Saturday that Ella's neurologist, Dr. Palat, is leaving Iowa :-( It is usually hard for Ella to trust doctors, and she liked her. The other neurologist at the clinic gave me the creeps, so we will probably be transferring our records. Any input is appreciated! Extra bonus if they specialize in seizures and migraines!

Re: Pediatric neurologist recs...

  • No recommendation but just wanted to wish you luck! Whenever I search for new doctors I always do an online search and bonus if the clinic/hospital site has pictures. It's judgmental - judging a book by the cover but ... sometimes people's image connects or doesn't connect with you.

DS dislikes male doctors (haven't found one yet that he likes) and while I hate to admit this - he always does well with women who are blond. No idea why. I am not blond. It's strange but it his personality.

  • I work with Palat through my job, but didn't know this.  I think she has a partner, but if not, this may help:

Also, I have many clients who take their kiddos to UIHC or Mayo.  MINCEP in Minneapolis also specializes in peds.

(i tried to make the link clicky, hope it worked)

    GL!
