Restaurant recs near Brighton?

Hey girls... for Mother's Day my mom wants to go see Something Borrowed with me and my sis. I live in East Lansing and they live in Milford, so we are gonna go to a matinee in Brighton and then take her out for dinner afterward. Does anyone have any rec's for a restaurant that's not too far from the theater? It doesn't have to be fancy... I'm not a huge fan of big chains like Chili's, etc. but I guess I won't rule them out if there's nothing else. Is there anything good around there? TIA!

Stillwater is really good and just down the street from the theater.  Actually, there is one in Okemos, so you may know what I am talking about already.

Ditto Stillwater. The Brighton Bar & Grill is pretty tasty too! It's downtown on Main St.

ETA: Stout Irish Pub is great as well. It's on Grand River, close to Main St.

Cia Amicis is supposed to be really good as well. I have never been there though, so I can't say for sure.

Stillwater for sure.  Just make sure to make a reservation, I would call today in fact.  We went there without one on a Saturday at like 5pm and there was a 75 min wait.
