Hunger Games...

I finished it... I liked it.  I do wish another author had written it for the adult genre so it was longer haha =P

There is a second book right?  I suppose I should read that too.

I can totally see this being made into a movie if it hasn't been already.

So what else am I supposed to read?  I liked this, the Something Borrowed stuff was decent.........remember I am more Stephen King than ... well some other girly author I can't name.  What's that Girl with the Dragon Tattoo crap all about.....?

You should read Room if you haven't already... not girly and really good!

There are 2 more after Hunger Games.  And yup, it is being made into a movie.

I too am more of a fan of Stephen King type books then the more marketed towards female books.  Girl with a Dragon Tattoo is really good, the first 1/3 is very very slow, but once it picks up it makes up for the slow beginning.   It too is being made into a movie.

DH read all the Hunger Game books and liked the first one the best, he would say don't bother reading the other two. But my mom and bro read all three and liked them, so who knows...

Next on my reading list are the Dexter books, the ones that the tv show is based off of.

Yes - there are a total of three in that series - I loved it!  I believe they're filming the movie right now.

I also just read Eat this, not that (interesting) and I just got an email from the library that The Prestige is in.... if you haven't already watched that movie, you totally should.  It is good.

I'm halfway through the second one now, I am enjoying it. The movie comes out next year IIRC.

I thought the 2nd one (Catching Fire) was even better than the first! Def. check it out. The girl with the whatever whatever series is good too

Room was FANTASTIC.

The Dragon Tattoo series is really good.  It's about this girl who is a private invesigator and a writer in Sweden.  That's all I'm telling you, you will totally get into it.

ETA: the Dexter books are really good too.  We love the show and I picked up the books about 6 months ago.

Yup, they are going to start shooting the movie for the Hunger Games soon, they are still casting parts (I get the updates on my FB).  I read all 3 and loved them.

I'm over half way done with Room and like it.

I have a ton of books on my Kindle to read...
