xp: fudge stripe cookie salad??!?

My Mom is hosting a graduation reception for my cousin who graduates from law school on Saturday.  He is originally from CA  but graduating from UND.  Mom wants me to bring "that salad with fudge stripe cookies".

Never heard of it, but told her I would figure it out...lol....help me please!

Re: xp: fudge stripe cookie salad??!?

  • I just googled "fudge stripe cookie salad" and got a ton of things. Here's some from cooks.com: http://www.cooks.com/rec/search/0,1-0,fudge_striped_cookie_salad,FF.html
  • sounds disturbing...but thanks!
  • It's really good, and I don't like mandarin oranges. But here's how I make it:

    Cool whip
    vanilla puddidng
    2c milk
    2 small cans mandarin oranges
    1 package fudge stripe cookies

Mix milk and pudding in bowl, fold in cool whip, add oranges. Chill. Add crushed cookies before serving and mix in.

  • If you use this recipe

It is SO good. Big Smile

This is what I do, with two exceptions.

    1. I use sliced peaches instead of mandarin oranges.

    2. I use 1 cup buttermilk instead of 2 cups milk.

If I can find them, I use the mini fudge stripe cookies instead of crushing the regular sized ones.
