AW: Mike just made my day & Clicky Poll

So I was in a rather sh!tty effn mood today.  For no particular reason, I just woke up in a funk.  Mike just texted me that he found a deal for $195 for 5 Couple Dance Lessons on sale for $29!!  They are being offered about 20 minutes from our house and I am so excited!! My bad mood just literally disappeared!!

Now, my question...

ETA - Ideally, we'd like to learn something we can use most often.  Something we can break out at any event without asking for a particular song to be played.. if that makes sense.

  • I said Latin, as it's rather fun to learn. However, I'm a horrible dancer - no sense of rhythm, so any of these would be a challenge for me, so I'd rather have music that's fun to listen to as I butcher the steps  :)

I voted for latin because I feel like you can work that into most dance songs.  The others I feel would look silly unless they were with the right type of song.

Latin or ballroom seem the most logical to learn for the most use.

But I would Hands down- LOVE to learn Swing dance. I'm a terrible dancer though.

  • Latin!  It is fun, upbeat, and more common these days

I was thinking the same thing about myself.  My hips really don't move, so I would be terrible, but I've always wanted to learn.

    I say Latin for sure!

And, what a sweetheart your husband is!

  • So fun!!

I voted Latin, as it seems liked it'd be fun to learn and also I know of a few places here in and my hometown that have Salsa Nights, etc.  So you could actually put to use (assume there are some by you)

This is exactly where I am on this.  I think Latin would be the most fun/useful because the steps are easy to put towards upbeat songs.  Ballroom is just that classic that we could bust out at weddings lol

But I'm just sooo drawn to swing!  It's looks ridculously fun and I think it looks amazing when I see people doing it!

    Ugh lol

  • I said Latin because its sexy and fun. But swing is a blast! I learned how to do some of the steps in HS and it was so much fun.
