Grandmother gift idea
My grandma is a hip lady that LOVES fashion jewelry and accessories. For past holidays, I've given her scarves, cocktail rings, pins, etc. This year I had planned on giving her a cocktail ring again.... but my grandfather is going to be in the hospital for a few days due to dehydration and a UTI. She's going to be visiting him every single day. '
So for mother's day, I'd like to give her something useful for her long days at the hospital but I can't think of anything. I don't want magazines to weigh down her tote. And I'm guessing she'll pack her own snacks to have handy. She'll be taking a bus to the hospital everyday - if that makes a difference. Any thoughts??

I don't know that she's tech savvy enough for a nook (and honestly, that's out of my budget range) but she does read alot - so maybe I should get her a book - something inspirational. The game idea would be great but I don't think my grandfather would be up for it. She's not much for hats, a she takes time to "do" her hair everytime she goes out.
