2.  I'm FINALLY fitting into a size smaller pants.....haven't been in this size since high school/early college!

3.  I won 2nd place in my weight loss challenge at work (out of about 80 people).  :o)

That is an AWESOME achievement.  I bet it feels amazing.  I'm still holding on to all sorts of clothes hoping that I'll one day fit into them again.  I'm really hoping after the baby comes that I can get focused and get back into some more clothes!

6.  A couple times over the past ~2 weeks I have worn only my wedding band and not my engagement ring, and several people have commented.  I didn't realize it was such a big deal!

If it makes you feel any better, I hardly ever wear my engagement ring.  My stone sits kinda' high and I'm always worried that I'm going to catch it on something and lose the diamond.  Totally OCD, I know.

This was the exact reason I told DH he could not buy me a solitaire or high-profile ring! We got engaged kind of spontaneously, so we went ring shopping together, and I chose a low-profile 3-stone ring that I love to this day. He still makes fun of me for not wanting anything bigger... but that is the exact reason why!

  • Aw, thanks!  Yeah, it feels pretty good to be down a size.  I still want to lose a few more lbs, but I'm very proud of myself so far.  :o)  I've definitely been holding on to a few smaller sizes hoping to fit back into them, so it's fun to try them on again to see how I'm doing!

I love wearing my ring set, but when I wear them together, I definitely am more conscious of it being on my finger all the time, which means I fidget with them (always making sure they are lined up and centered on my finger).  I also hate when I wash my hands and I can't get it dry under there, haha.  The two rings together fit more snug-ly than a single ring, so for a while I was enjoying just the one ring and how it felt so weightless on my hand.  It doesn't bother me, I just thought it was odd that several people even noticed!

Both of these are also reasons that I just like wearing my wedding ring.  I honestly really only wear my engagement ring on "occasions" like church, date-night, getting together with friends, etc.  Honestly, when I'm sitting around the house I don't even wear my wedding ring.  I think I'm strange.

We bought the set separate from the diamond and had them put together.  When we picked out the set, I swear it didn't seem like the diamond would sit as high as it does.  I actually like the look of it sitting higher, but it's just not as practical as I'd like it to be.
