Windows 7 scrolling question

My new laptop has Windows 7 so I'm assuming this is a feature in Windows....there is a little rectangular box that pops up on the screen (I assume is a scrolling bar.)   Is there a way to disable it?  I can't even figure out what I"m doing to active it but all I know is a I hate it and want it gone Smile

Can anyone help?  I can't seem to find an answer when I google it.

Thanks!

Re: Windows 7 scrolling question

  • You'll have to be more specific.  Can you take a screenshot of what you are talking about and post it.  Use the "prtscn" key on the keyboard and paste it into paint.

I was getting wierd mouse "things" with Windows 7 - and wasn't sure what they were or what I was doing to get them but I went to the mouse options and it actually explains what your hand movements do and there you can turn off and turn on what you do/don't want!
