Re: Any ideas for a Bridal Tea Shower

  • I always like for things to do double-duty at showers.  How about teapot centerpieces that double as prizes for game winners?

You can also decorate the tables with pretty favor boxes around the centerpieces.... maybe some nice tea bags in a pretty package.

Or pretty tea cups with single rose in each.

Take a look at this link for inspiration:

For games, how about a low-key pen & paper game with tea trivia?  Everyone gets to participate.

    HTH.

Thank you for the cute ideas. I love the tea pot with the favor boxes around it. I need to still work on the games.
  • I think having a tea tasting or something like that for a game would be fun. Maybe have different types/flavors of tea for people to sample and try to guess what they are? Or if you don't want to make so many cups of tea (that might be a bit much), then you can put different types of loose leaf tea  in little jars and have people guess what type of tea they are? Kind of like the "guess the spice" game, but it would be tea instead.

I have been searching for Bridal Tea Shower Ideas too and came across these. http://letspourtea.com/2011/04/27/tea-party-bridal-shower-cookies/

I'm not sure yet which colors we are going to use, but thought they were so pretty.

I love the idea of guess the tea game. I got a tea pot cookie cutter from Sur La Table. But the cookies you posted are too cute.

It is really hard to find tea cups at second hand stores. I was able to pick up some plates, platters, and a tea pot. So I will use these as serving pieces.

I am going to make tea sandwiches. Offer quiche, fruit skewers, and dessert bites. Then tea will be served.

I wanted to make a white bag look like a large tea bag for the favors.

    Any other ideas????
