Help me pick a smartphone (Verizon) *clicky*
I dont know why this has turned into such a big deal for me but it has... I can't decide between the Incredible 2, the Droid X or the Thunderbolt.
a) I really like the Thunderbolt because its 4G, but can't get past the poor battery life and if I use the battery extender then no cases will fit the phone.
b) The Droid X is really calling me but I dont like the buttons, so then I go for the Incredible 2 which is totally touch screen.
c) I hear a new 4G phone (LG Revolution) is coming out at the end of May - maybe the battery life will be better on it? or the new Droid (Bionic) that is supposed to come out sometime this Summer is a better choice?
Anyone have either of these phones and care to convince me which is better??

I didn't vote because I don't know enough about the Thunderbolt or the Incredible 2, but my son (16 yrs old) has the Droid X and really likes it. The battery lasts all day and he texts a lot. He has to charge it though overnight so he can use it the next day.
I have the Samsung Fascinate and I really like it. Battery life since the OS update a couple of weeks ago has gone down hill though. I believe Samsung just came out with a new phone last week.
We've both had our phones almost a month now.

I had the fascinate as well and Loved it...I know the new one is coming out soon the Charge and I've heard good things about it.
I just went with the HTC Incredible 2 and I am in love with it. I too steered away from the Thunderbolt because of the crappy battery and even the Verizon person said that was a major flaw. I've had the Incredible 2 since Sunday and just charged it yesterday for the first time.
I have the Thunderbolt and really like it. I do sometimes charge it while I'm at work, but I haven't found the battery life to be a huge issue yet. I heard from a neighbor who works for verizon that they are phasing out the droid x.
Also, I think there is a Samsung phone that just came out (or is coming out) on Verizon that is also 4g.

Thanks for all the help girls! I read online that the Droid X2, LG Revolution (4G phone) and the HTC Trophy are supposed to be released May 12. I think I may wait for the Revolution, I really want 4G.
I think the new Samsung pp was talking about is the Charge and it came out yesterday maybe?

I'm glad you posted this- I'm trying to decide between Verizon smartphones as well and am totally overwhelmed. One thing- DH and I were in the Verizon store and asked about the Bionic, and we were told that it is not coming out at all now- they just said the manufacturer had pulled it. I'm not sure if this is true or not since we haven't had time to research further.
