How do you like the essie nail polish?  I got an email from Target advertising them and I was just wondering if the polish is long lasting, how the colors are, overall if it's a good polish?

Re: LTB

  • Sorry I'm jumping in here.

I have a few essie's I use in summer colors. I like them alot. I find they last a heck of a long time on my toes. And nails not as long but I can normally get a good two weeks with no chipping (obviously with clear top coat).

  • Love it. I pink puffy heart the Sugar Daddy color. I would rarely paint my nails until I bought this. Now I'm redoing them weekly. It lasts the entire week, with little to no chipping or anything. I'm pretty rough on my nails. I've had them painted since last Thursday and I only have a chip on one finger.

I did buy two darker colors that I don't like as much, but I think its just because I don't like many colors on my fingernails. They'll both be great on my toe nails.

I think each bottle is $7 at Target and even though I'm super cheap, I think its worth the price.

  • Essie is my preferred brand of polish. It rocks. I love Essie and Sally Hanson for longevity. Essie kicks a$$ for colors.

  • Jumping in too.  I had never heard of Essie until Steph mentioned something a few months ago.  Bought my first color for (eek) $7.50 and had high expectations for the price.  Did not disappoint.  Have since purchased 2 other colors and may become an Essie snob...
  • I will definately have to try it.  I've been buying mine from Nordstrom Rack and Sally Beauty Supply (can't remember the brand) and they don't last more than three days.  The polish starts chipping and it looks so gross.  I'll have to stop by Target on Friday and pick up a bottle.
