Can I please get advice on Mother's Day Menu
I am not a good entertainer at all! I am hosting about 10 people for Mother's Day. Here is what I have so far: sausage and peppers with rolls, meatballs and sausage in crockpot, fettucine with spinach alfredo sauce.
Any other ideas? What else can I add? Thank you so much!!

Welcome to EI
I'm seeing lots of processed meat on that menu. We'll have to do some tweaking, but first, questions.
Is this 10 people for a sit-down or will people be perching on the sofa? Is this intended to be a full meal? Do you have picky eaters? What is "sausage and peppers with rolls" - an app thing or a sandwich thing?
My first thought is to use the fettuccine as the main dish and work to add to it like you would for a normal meal, but I'm interested in your answers first.

Think about what you would want to eat as a meal. For me you have too much meat, no veggies, nothing cold, and it's prretty heavy. I'd pick either the sausage and peppers or the pasta and work a menu from there.
One fun thing I did was a pasta bar- linguini, a marinara sauce, an alfredo, meatballs, chicken, and shrimp, then I let people build their own.
Another idea, grill the sausages and while you're at it, grill some veggies and toss with some orzo and a lemon vinagrette.
I like 6's idea of a pasta bar.
My thought was to use the fettuccine as your starch/carb side, then either bake or grill chicken tenders (tenders only because they cook more quickly), add two vegetables (sweet potato wedges maybe and a salad), and a dessert. If yall are big sausage eaters, maybe serve cheese and sausage slices as an app with crackers while you're getting everything ready.

Well I personally would say that menu isn't so bad but I'm italian...
so I would just do sausage/rolls, meatballs (homemake them though) and a pasta that you can actually top with meatballs (it could still be cheesy, but not creamy).
add a salad, some grilled zucchini, and dessert
