The daughter of a good friend is graduating High School this year. It has been a really tough year for them. I want to make her a graduation gift.
I already got her a towel set as well as a pair of 2011 flip flops. But I want to do something cute and personal.
Any ideas?
I may post this on the craft board- but I figured you ladies know me better so I would ask here first seeing as we have lots of creative minds around!
TIA!

Re: Graduation Gift?
Maybe a quilt? My cousin made one for me in my favorite colors and I loved seeing it on my bed in my dorm. It always made me feel better when school was getting stressful or I was homesick.
Also, I seen some really cute Freshman year survival kits. You could put things like a stress-relieving toy, multi-tool/mini toolkit, first-aid kit, clip-on reading light, earplugs (in case of noisy roommate), sleep mask, magnetic picture frame, tissues for saying goodbye to family, pocket organizer, address book, and maybe a giftcard for Bed, Bath, and Beyond or Target for the last minute dorm items.
If not, maybe clothes, make up, scrapbook if you have pictures throughout her childhood.
And what all high school grads want: Cash!
Thanks ladies. I'm not quilt crafty- but that would be a good idea.
I was going to give her a check for $20.11 but I wanted to make something a little more personal. lol.
