Hi everyone. This is my first post here, but I've lurked a little and I'm hoping someone can help me or give me some suggestions.
We have a fairly steep bank on one side of our driveway. Right now there is pretty much nothing growing there, aside from weeds. I am mostly concerned about soil erosion, but also I want it to actually look nice too! I'm wondering what I can plant here to help with this, I was thinking something that will spread easily and cover the ground, but that won't get so crazy that it invades nearby plants/trees. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Oh, I am in the northeast if that helps for plant selection at all, and it is a fairly sunny location, get mostly afternoon sun, I'd say for 4-6 hours, but I wouldn't say it "bakes" in the sun either, if that makes sense.
Thanks!

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
What about creeping thyme? Be careful about english ivy, it's considered an invasive weed in some areas.
