serious or not serious?

Hi guys - I lurk but I do answer questions when I know anything about the topic!

I am just whining...I'm so sad - my knee started hurting two days ago and now pops when I turn or rotate my leg. I don't remember now if the popping is just something that's always happened (I've always been able to pop my knees when locking my knees and twisting my torso) but now I notice it more or if it's related to the pain.  I was doing squats on the black side of the bosu ball (unsteady, thought it would be great balance and muscle strengthening) and I'm pretty sure I did something.  The pain is dull, and comes and goes, but I'm so afraid it's a serious injury.  I got an ortho appointment for Monday, but does this sound like something serious? I love working out and thinking about not being able to do it frustrates me.  I run, do stair machine, and NROL4W...no problems for four years :( Besides swimming, what else can I do until Monday that won't aggravate my knee?

Thanks for reading that ridiculously long whine :) TIA :)

Re: serious or not serious?

  • No idea if it is something serious or not (hopefully not!) but if you have an appointment for Monday I would just rest until then.
