DH took the kids to the ferry to meet me at the boat tonight. As I get off, Ava runs to me and we embrace, like we haven;t seen eachother in years. And she says "Mommy. Oh Mommy. I can't tell you something. Not a word. Not even a peep. That's what my teachers said."
I changed the subject because I didn't think she had the resolve that your older child has - I think with one question, she would have spilled the beans 
Anyway, it reminded me of your story! One day, my kid will get there...!
