Some of you asked for it, so here it is...33 weeks and 1 day:

Just to put this into perspective...there isn't a lot that makes my butt look small (I might be one of those girls that Sir Mix A Lot sang about!). So this kid is getting pretty big! And I still have a ways to go...yikes!

Yes. They're getting to the creepy stage now. Here's a picture that I posted here (on a nail polish post that Tisha started) a few weeks ago. I still haven't cut them. My left index finger that once got slammed in a car door is starting to curve a little. Seriously. They need to be cut very badly!

Are you still working or are you on maturnity leave?
And because I'm incredibly bored right now and have no motivation to do ALL of the stuff I need to be doing at work...here are my creepy nails today (note that I broke my thumb nail and I'm still too lazy to cut the rest...Tisha, does this explain why I'm too lazy to paint them? Haha!).
Megan & Chris
I'm still working. I have a desk job that I can (and do) do from home, so my plan is to work all the way up until he's born.
Texas' laws on maternity leave aren't as good as some other places (I think in some states you get a month before your due date!). I am entitled to twelve weeks (FMLA) so I would rather spend all of those twelve weeks at home with Carter than use some of them before to sit around by myself.
Megan & Chris
Totally agree! Will you be able to still work from home after the 12 weeks?
And hot damn those are some long nails! They must be thick, too! Mine have to be short because of how thin they are.
1) Your honeydew bump is so cute!
2) I'm jealous that you can grow your nails long.
3) I love your wedding ring.
4) I can't wait to "meet" Carter!
Brooke - yes, I will still work from home when I go back to work. Carter will, of course, be in school/daycare (crying babies don't go over well on conference calls!), but eliminating the 45 minute commute on both sides of my day for more time to spend with him is important to me. Plus, I get SOOOOO much more done when I work from home. Too many distractions at the office.
Erin - thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you! You guys will definitely see pictures after he's born!

This, this, this, this!!
Thanks Megan!
