Anyone live in Buckeye? (Intro)

Hi ladies! 

I figured I would introduce myself, because it is getting a little weird posting on the Seattle board still. DH and I just moved to Buckeye from Seattle two weeks ago. Nothing like 36 hours in a uhaul 22 weeks pregnant! Boy were my feet swollen.

Anywho!

I am a 21 year old soon to be mommy, who is a step-mommy to a cute little four year old. (She lives in MA with her mom).

I live in Chandler, but hi, welcome, and congrats!!   There are plenty of ladies around here that are still pregnant, or now recently have new little ones.

Hi! Congrats on your pregnancy and move! We live in Gilbert, but we moved when I was about 7 weeks post partum, not something I want to repeat, but we love our area. Hope you get all settled in and enjoy the nesting!

So far it is pretty okay. We moved down here with no jobs, so we have been on the hunt! I have learned quickly that a car with no A/C is torture when you are pregnant!

I haven't been on this board in forever and just happened to check it today. I live in Buckeye... I am 24 and my fiance is 22 and we are about to get married. We moved here last summer and bought a house.... originally from Cali... but went to school in Portland, OR so I'm familiar with the Seattle area. Where in Buckeye are you?

Wow we have somewhat the same areas growing up! I was born in Cali, spent some time in Seattle, and then moved down here with DH. 

We live near Watson/Yuma. We are renting here now, but would LOVE to be able to buy out in Veraddo once our lease is up.

What part of Cali did you grow up in? I live off of Southern/Miller... what brought you out to Buckeye? Verrado is sooo nice... I wish I would have known more about it when we were buying a house... either way though we love our house and it's so cheap out here! Buckeye is really starting to develop too!

Wow, I think you are only about ten minutes from me! I grew up around Sacramento, but I am so glad to be out of that area! We moved out here to be closer to DH's mother. We had no family in Seattle, and knew that with a baby on the way, it would make things tougher emotionally.

Yeah, you are not far from me at all.... being near family is nice... My fiance's parents are retiring soon and will hopefully be moving to AZ!

Welcome!  We live in Buckeye and also moved here from WA!  DH grew up in Everett and we met over at WSU.  Lived in Spokane for a few years before we moved down here.  We're in the eastern part of Buckeye (it covers a huge area), but I've been to Verrado several times and it's beautiful there!!
