Five Things Friday
1. As of late, my dog has found a new hobby in licking his wiener every night. (Sorry for the mental image)
2. The other night, DH yelled at him to knock it off. Not realizing what was going on, I said "What's he doing?" and he responded with "He's licking his d*ck again." Emma immediately started saying "Oliver's licking his d*ck. Oliver's licking his d*ck." 
3. Thankfully the novelty of that phrase wore off and I haven't heard it since.
4. Even though I doubt it will happen, I really hope DH does something for me for Mother's day. He's usually pretty bad at this kind of stuff and it makes me kinda' sad.
5. I should probably just tell him it bothers me, but I don't.

1. I hope this will be easier than Ten Things Tuesday, lol.
2. We had amazing Mexican food last night at Los Amigos in Ypsilanti. It'was completely shady, but it was delicious! And PACKED I might add...
3. I have horrible heart burn now and I'm pretty sure that it's from the mexican food last night. I still think it was worth it!
4. I'm excited to start my garden this weekend!
5. I still have no idea what I want to plant, but Tomatoes are definitely on the list! YUM!

1. As much as I can't wait to get my sewing machine, I just cannot bring myself to make a damn decision and just bite the bullet and buy it already. I'm so scared of making a wrong decision.
2. In addition to getting a sewing machine for mother's day, DH said to me last night that he was "buying me something expensive on his way home from work for me". I know that makes me sound like a spoiled brat, but I don't care.
3. I'm secretly happy DH is leaving for his business trip on Sunday.
4. I'm happy about #3 because it means I get Gabriel all to myself on Sunday.
5. I started putting on Blue's Clues for Gabriel on Netflix. It's Season 1, which came out when my sister was a toddler. The sad thing: I know every word to every episode. DH caught me dancing & singing around the room with Gabe and couldn't figure out how I knew all the words. This makes me feel old.

1. Since I've been counting calories I've started to look at food I usually eat to track it and am blown away by how much some items have in them. It's really helped me to make smarter choices ... most of the time.
2. I miss making my lunch for work - my mornings are so rushed now with Dayne. The option of getting up earlier just doesn't work for me. I think I may just make my sandwich the night before and have it sit in the fridge all night.
3. My sisters "wedding" (they are already married by the JOP - this is a reception) is next weekend and I have still yet to get a dress for it. I need to get on that.
4. I'm actually wearing real jeans today - not maternity jeans. I actually attempted to just pull my pants down when I went to the bathroom today - forgetting I have a zipper and button again.
5. My mom told me that my BIL & sister are going to spend three weeks up in Michigan (they live in Florida too) starting next week and my BIL is looking for a job back up here. I'm hoping to have my entire family back here by the end of the year.
Haha... that was the thought. Maybe some more people can participate with only 5 things to think of.
There's a Los Amigos just down the street from me in Livonia, and I've often thought of trying it. I wonder if that one is just as good as the one in Ypsi. LoL at "it was completely shady".
I am the exact same way. I'm always dragging my feet on any purchase because I'm very frugal and don't want to waste money on something I won't enjoy or use.
LoL... I'm jealous and can't wait to see what you get!
Do you have a Dressbarn by you? They usually have some cute options. I was able to find a really cute dress there for a wedding a few months after Emma was born.

1. I'm recently obsessed with buying a BOB Revolution Duallie, but I'm sure DH will kill me if I do.

Ziggy does that. it's gross.
1. i am way stressed out with the new job and irritated that DH gets to just go to work and class while i am left to manage everything.
2. even though i am stressed out, i am spending the day nesting and catching up on my DVR.
3. i put M to sleep in her swing because i didn't have the energy to fight her to get her to nap in her crib.
4. DH's exwife is gaining weight and i am secretly happy about it (we see her fairly often because of DSS)
5. we have to see MIL tonight and if she calls DD Maddie I might punch her.
(apparently I'm feeling very negative today)

1. After watching Cam crane his neck in his jumperoo to see the TV I gave up, turned him towards it and put a cartoon on. He is thrilled. He's got 8 more minutes...then it's getting turned off.
2. Sheila- Here's the mail it never fails it makes me wanna wag my tail!
3. I already ordered the Shark Steam Mop for my Mother's Day present, but I really hope H is doing something in addition.
4. I bought Easter candy on clearance. This was a bad idea. OK...I might have done it twice.
5. I'm going to BBW today to get candles.

1. There's been a number of people really annoying me lately- it's making me into such a b*tch
2. I know this sounds really bad, but for Mother's Day, I really wish I could have a day to myself (i.e. no kids). It's been forever since I've seen a movie and I'd love to go see Something Borrowed.
3. I've very excited about the gift I got my mom from the boys. They're 2 swarovski turtles- 1 for each boy
4. This week flew by!
5. The thought of buying a new car is stressing me out to no end- that's partly why I'm procrastinating on it.
OMG Dayne is already doing this too! He is transfixed by the TV - Jason tells me he's just enjoying the colors but I swear he's only interested in the hockey games that have been on lately.
I second this.
My Happy House
1. The IL's are in from Chicago...my MIL has already fixed 2 things for me (brought her sewing machine with). Nice to have extra hands w/the kids
2. Was very surprised to receive my shoes I ordered yesterday just now, when it said 2-day shipping, whoo hoo!
3. Had an awesome walk yesterday, almost 4 miles through the neighborhoods...then DD & I played in the back, saw some ducks & then chalked up our sidewalk
4. With the IL's here, DD will probably watch Sprout all day w/Grandpa. Since she doesn't watch much tv, it's a nice treat for her & I'm impressed my FIL will sit all day watching it with her!
5. Returned home Wed. night from the hospital & church to find a package on the porch from the kids & DH for Mother's Day:

1. Ok so I've been living under a rock lately, but I just heard that our Tigers have been beating the YANKEES!! Had to go harass by friend who is a huge fan and is from NY that we've been beating the Yankees.
2. Been in a funky mood lately and not sure why.
3. Crossing my fingers that the Red Wings pull it off tonight!
4. Thinking that all the milk I've had today that I should be Milk Wasted right about now.
5. Is it strange that I have a hard time just filtering the things that come out of my mouth? I have a bad habit of just blurting out whatever pops into my head. Sometimes is really random and hilarious and other times not so much.
1. I did not have any yummy Mexican food yesterday or even the margarita I was daydreaming about.
2. Instead, H & I thought it would be fun to have one of our "off nights" and the passive aggressive stubbornness ensued.
3. Thankfully that doesn't happen often. I don't want to have to kill my husband.
4. I have a sinus infection combined with killer allergies right now.
5. All 4 of those posts are pretty negative. I guess that sums up how I'm feeling today, lol. Let's see... Think positive Amanda... I'm looking forward to a BBQ at my IL's house Sunday!!
I use the tv as a babysitter so I can do the dishes, eat, etc.

1. DS finally rolled over to the other side! He's been rolling over to the left for over a month, and now finally rolled to the right!
2. I ordered part of DH's fathers day gift today.
3. DH is a horrible gift giver. He just tells me to go out and buy whatever I want.
4. My 'push gift' was the only surprise gift he has given me in the last 5 years. I didn't know I was getting anything nor did I ask.
5. I cut out a racey pic from my Cosmo and hung it on CW wall...I can't wait for him to notice (or someone else for that matter)
I feel like the shadier the Mexican Restaurant the better it will be.

DH and I really like the name Madelyn if baby #2 is a girl, but I'm afraid people will call her Maddie and I'm not 100% sure I like that. Do you find you have to correct people all.the.time?
My friend just named her daughter Madison and refuses to let people call her Maddie. She just says "We're not using nicknames with her - just Madison please"

I now have the Blue's Clues songs running through my head.
1. In the next 8 days I have- 3 mothers to celebrate mother's day with, my step mom's 50th bday, a rehearsal dinner being held at my house, bf gradautes from college, little sister gets married + work all week. I want to crawl in a hole and come out when it's all done!
2. I got a new watch that I've been wearing to work and gotten a ton of compliments on. A coworker asked where I got the watch and I lied because she also got the same shoes as me and a sweatshirt I wore to work. We wear the same scrubs every day and I am annoyed that she wants to have the same stuff as me.
3. I've been really mean to my boss lately because he is indecisive about everything but complains to me constantly about problems that he sees. He doesn't like confrontation, so he solves all of his problems by venting to me and then he forgets about it while I stew over everything. The more mean I am to him the nicer and more annoying he gets.
4. I'm really excited for bf to graduate from school so we will have a more normal schedule but I am nervous about him finding a job since he is currently unemployed.
5. I got bf 9th row tickets for Bob Seger in a few weeks, it just happens that the concert is the week after his graduation so I decided that was his grad gift, I sort of feel guilty that I didn't really put much effort into thinking about getting something else. He's beyond excited for the concert and I know he doesn't care about gifts, but for some reason I still worry it's not enough!
Hahahahahaha.... Probably true.
That would annoy me too. I don't blame you for not sharing.
