Moms - diaper bag question

When you leave the house with the baby, do you carry both a purse and a diaper bag or just one or the other?

depends where I am going. If I am just running out quickly and not taking the stroller I throw my wallet in her bag and go. If we are going out shopping at the mall or wherever I usually take my bag and through it in the stroller.

I bought a diaper bag that isn't very diaper bagish so I could use it like a regular bag. I got this one but in a differet color

Usually I just take one. Which one depends on how long I'll be gone. If we're just running to the store or something like that, I'll often throw a diaper in my purse and go. If we're going to be gone all day, I put my wallet and essentials in the diaper bag and just take that.

I only carry a purse when I don't have Weston with me, and that is rare.

With the kids I nanny for I usually just throw my phone, keys, and wristlet in the diaper bag. That being said, my purse usually sits in my car 90% of the time because I hate lugging it around. Love my wristlet!

I carry both my purse and my diaper bag.  I have too many things in my purse that I like to have to just throw my wallet and phone in the diaper bag, and I am not good at downsizing what I need to make more space, I am definitely an over planner!

Right now I just use the diaper bag. When he's older and doesn't need so much crap I'll just throw a diaper in my purse. I have a backpack as a diaper bag. I personally like it a lot bc it is even and doesn't get in the way. When I'm lugging his infant seat and a toddler through a store, I'm glad I don't have a bag getting in the way. It's definitely not glamorous. Just a black skip hop backpack but it does the job and Kevin isn't embarrassed to carry it too lol

Always late to the game...

When I first started, I was carrying only the diaper bad, and I threw my wallet and such in there with Sami's things.

Then, as Sami got older and I needed to start carrying around more things for her, there started to be less available room for my stuff, so now I carry both her diaper bag and my purse.
