Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw5Vcnjv5Bo

My Uncle Bob's very close friend was killed in a motorcycle accident when I was younger and for some reason this song reminds me of him.  Maybe I heard him play it when I was a kid or something.

  • Higher by Creed

Partly because I cannot stand Creed, but mostly because they played it at a very good friend's funeral service.  It would often come on the radio on my way home from school when I was in college right when I was passing the cemetery where he is buried.

(I know I'm supposed to link it to You Tube, but as usual, I'm kind of feeling lazy)

  • Rascal Flatts - What Hurts the Most

The words kill me..  and this video is so good!

  • What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong
Played in the car with my dad after scattering some of my grandma's ashes. Was also our father-daughter dance in tribute to my grandma.

    Fix You - Coldplay
Sounds dumb, but plays in a very sad episode of Scrubs & Brothers and Sisters.

Good call!  I cry every.single.time I see that commercial!

And I don't even support the SPCA because our local SPCA will not adopt out pit bulls (instead, they euthanize them) and the thought of them not giving a chance to every dog that goes through their doors angers me more than I can begin to explain!

That is aweful.  The SPCA near me only has pitbulls half the time.  But I cry with that commercial everytime....I can't even watch it now

  • I haven't done the other days but I will start today...

Post BC I cry at all sad/slow songs but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhnU9IYTD9c (Sarah Beth by Rascal Flatts) really makes me cry. I lost a friend to cancer right before this song came out and my sister's best friend died from cancer right after it came out. I couldn't even listen to it when I went to make sure this was the right song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMGgWhTY_A8 Tegami By Angela Aki.  My kids sang this at every graduation and always cried.  It's a 15 year old girl writing to her future self about how full of sorrow she is, and her future self writing a letter back.  It's going to be even more meaningful now that so many of these 15 year old graduates will have lost their homes, friends and loved ones.  The graduation this year happened--for some--the day of the tsunami, and for other schools just days after.
