Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Alabama tornado relief efforts

Not sure how to make that clicky. Anyways, that has a pretty comprehensive list of ways to help from donations to drop off sites. The University of Alabama alumni chapter has been very active in several fund raisers in the DC/VA areas (raised over $9,000 and took 2 truckloads of supplies to Tuscaloosa this week). DH and I are organizing a happy hour most likely in the Columbia area in the next 2 weeks. We will also be raffling off UA merchandise and selling t-shirts with all proceeds going towards either the Red Cross or the fund set up by the University. We're really pushing to get more events accessible to MD residents but will need some help publicizing the events.
Please, if anyone is interested in attending an event or helping out on any way let me know. Now that I have access to internet at home again I plan on going at this with full effort.
