Anyone dealt with Leaf Miners?

We just started our first raised bed garden and discovered we have what appears to be Leaf Miners on our eggplant and tomato leaves. Anyone successfully gotten rid of them? We want to try the least invasive or chemical-approach possible. TIA.

Unless the problem is really bad, I probably wouldn't do very much. Your crop is still okay, right?

The fruit looks untouched, it's only the leaves that have been targeted. It's perhaps a few leaves on one tomato plant and one eggplant plant.

I was considering removing the leaves so they didn't spread, but I read any injury to the leaves can cause more invasions.

  • I wouldn't do anything if it's just a few leaves.
