DH and I have plans to wait till next April before we start trying for a little one. I am fine with this, this is what works for us and is best for our future offspring.
What makes it difficult is the fact that it seems every other day someone is announcing they are pregnant on facebook and new baby pictures are being posted ALL the time. Don't get me wrong, we aren't trying and I am happy my friends are happy and I love seeing all the cute babies, it just makes it exceptionally difficult to wait.
Whine over..... we can now continue with regularly scheduled activity.

Re: whine....
It sounds like you're not as fine with waiting as you'd like to be.
And that's okay too.
All I can say is try to enjoy life as it is right now, once you have 'em, you're never going back. I say you might as well embrace the 1 on 1 time you have with your husband now!

As much as I understand where you are now, I'm embracing what Kaesha says. Tons of my friends are pregnant and I constantly get asked about when we're going to start trying. I'd love to have a kid now, but we're not quite settled down. We're fine financially, we're just not sure we will stay here, what the next few years holds career wise, travel wise, etc..
It's not easy, but for the time being, I'm okay with being Auntie Kari.
