Michigan Themed party
Hi All! I was a detroit knottie who now lives in philly.
We are hosting a Michigan (the state of) theme party for my brother, sis in law, and new nephew who are moving back to Michigan after 3 years in AZ. The party is to welcome them back as well as meet my new nephew who is 4 months old.
I need some ideas for MI themes, so far we have:
faygo pop
bells brewery beer
Coney dogs
vernors
better made chips
any other theme ideas that are not foods?
Obvi we will be playing the Pure Michigan commerical in the background

You could put the local sports teams' logos around (Tigers, Red Wings, Lions, Pistons
I can't think of much else, there's Kellogg's cereal, Ford, GM & Chrysler.
I like the sports theme stuff, including activities done at the great lakes (boating, fishing, etc).
Maybe include stuff related to artists who are from Michigan? Like Kid Rock, Madonna, Bob Seger, Eminem, or any Motown artists?
Other foods: Traverse City cherries, Frankenmuth stuff (like Zehender's jam), Sanders chocolates.
