Hey, Just saw your post about the cloth wipes... We're planning on making a simple cloth solution from this site, and just keeping it in a spray bottle (purchased from target's travel size section). I'm going to keep the wipes dry until needed, and then spray them with the solution right before using. I'm figuring if we keep everything at room temperature it, that we should be ok. I don't want to keep the wipes moist/wet cause I hate the thought of mold.
Obviously, that's just the game plan. We'll see what actually happens once she makes her arrival.
What have you tried? And what type of wipe solution have you/do you use?
My overly happy baby girl!

Re: *Rebek*
Thanks! We tried using a spray I bought, but then I realized how frickin expensive that was going to get. Then we used a bowl with water in it and dipped the wipes in it. Beyond that, I gave up. I didn't even look into anything else.
It was just so easy to throw it away!
Thanks for the link. We might try that, with the spray bottle. They won't do it at daycare, but maybe we can do it at home. I noticed that some of the wipes solutions have tea tree oil in them -- I have heard that the long-term effects of tea tree oil on infants can be detrimental, but I heard it anecdotally and haven't had a chance to look into it. I just thought I'd mention it in case you're considering one of those recipies, you might want to look into the TTO a little more. I might be an urban myth, it might not be.
Definitely good to know about the TTO, I hadn't heard anything about it, so I'll have to look into it.
We were planning on doing the Easy Peasy one, baby oil, baby wash, and water. Simple, and we already have the stuff to make it.
We are planning on using disposable wipes while we're out and about, one less poopy thing to carry around, and I have bad luck with fluids spilling in bags, so if I dont have to carry around a spray bottle... it's probably for the best, haha.
