I'm at a loss for what kind of shoes to wear this spring and summer. I've always just worn flip flops but I think I'd like something a little more...I don't know...grown up maybe? Not sure the word I'm looking for.
For work I'll still wear my normal heels or open toed heels but I at a loss for something seasonal for out of work. For example, today I'm going to a jewelry party at a friend's house and I'm going to be wearing my black flats and they seem so wintery. bleh.
Anyone want to shop for me?

Re: Shoes for spring/summer?
I'm in the same boat as you. I have issues with shoes being comfortable so i end up with shoes that should be worn by women my mother's age. I need to find something comfortable yet young and cute. So I do tend to wear a lot of flip flops as well.
So I'll be interested in what others suggest.

The flat sandals with a back are popular now, although I don't like them b/c really they're just a flip flop with a back strap.

LOL those are the sandals I bought but in turquoise.

LOL, sorry Dana. I know they're popular and probably better for chasing a toddler, but I don't know they're just nms.

I was looking on Endless and man, I just can't find anything I like. I want a little heel but not too high. I used to have a cute open toed kitten heel from Target but they bit the dust two springs ago (last year I didn't care since I barely got dressed)
Jess, I would like a cute summery type ballet flat too.
I guess I'm in a shopping mood. I bought myself a bracelet at the jewelry party and I'm trying to find a cute pair of capris (need a black pair) and I'm thinking of buying a tote bag - lol. I'll call it all mothers day presents.
I looked on Endless before our cruise and was pretty disappointed.
I did get some aerosoles guava for work that I like, but they're a wedge with some heel.
I just ordered some gap slim crops. I ordered a pair from lands end canvas, but they were way to long, so hopefully the gap ones will fit better.

i LOVE these but hate that they have a bit of a thicker heel. im not a heel person AT ALL.

Lol, that heel is too much for you? You really aren't a heel person! That's about what I'm looking for - 1" - 1 1/4".
I just ordered two pairs of cropped pants from Ann Taylor Loft. Black and Khaki. I have a denim-ish pair and a white pair so I should be good now.
Now I'm debating getting this tote from Vera Bradley. And I'm still looking for shoes - and then maybe I'll be satisfied. lol
HA! are they for real?! that's funny as hell. definitely not what i would consider a sandal.
that bag is cute! i actually just got the tote in buttercup. the pattern looks washed out on the computer for some reason. yeah anything with even the slightest bit of a heel is too much for me. they have a bunch of different colors and i want them all. they do have a true flat but the flower isn't as cute.

I do like the flower on that one!
Buttercup is pretty - I bet its even prettier a little brighter. It's nice for spring/summer. I should just suck it up and buy it. If you could see how many totes I have you'd probably talk me out of it. Shoot - Nick hasn't even seen all I have stuffed in a closet. It's my weakness.
