If I were you I would stick with SE and definitely not NE. The house was in Milwaukee and was 950 (from what I remember).
I hope your move is good.
What's wrong with NE? I LOVE NE Pdx. We rented a house there is a fabulous neighborhood right off fremont with some cute shops and eats.
