forgot about mother's day at daycare
i sort of suck. they were doing the mother's day at daycare this a.m. i don't usually do drop off, but figured i would be a little late for work today, and i forgot!
they have you take your kid to the staff lounge and share a doughnut then drop off at their room.
so at least it wasn't in her room and she would see i was missing because other moms came.
and doughnuts were on my mind this morning and now i know why. i stopped at DD and got myself an iced coffee and bought Ava a strawberry doughnut - so we had a treat together anyway, i guess.
i say sort of suck because i missed it but my kid got the breakfast of champions anyway 
and before anyone comments on that - she did have cereal at home first!
