Ashley/Jenny

So how was Zumba? Did you like it? I hope so!

Re: Ashley/Jenny

  • I must admit, I have a love/hate relationship with Zumba.  The class is brutal - I had no idea what I was in for when I signed up for the class.  It's one hour of non-stop movement led by a instructor fueled by Energizer batteries.  I spend most of the class going the wrong direction and tripping over my own feet.  BUT despite all that I'm totally enjoying it!!!  Having Ashley and her friend there to joke and commiserate with is probably the only reason I went back after the first class.  Suffering by yourself is never fun.  I'm also pretty surprised that I'm not completely sore the next day.  My entire body is tired, but not sore.  All and all, I'm really glad you guys convinced me to sign up.  I really am having fun, and I'm already considering signing up again after this month is done.

  • I agree with Jenny.  If it wasn't for her and my friend Amy cracking up in the back with me, I'm not sure I would have gone back.  I'm not sure any of use have a clue what we're doing but we have a good time.  Our instructor is the energizer bunny on crack but it would be really boring if she wasn't that way.

I'm working out 4-5 days a week now so, I'm tired all the time (not sleepy but physically tired).  However, I'm not sore which is weird but good.  Maybe that means I'm doing it wrong though?  lol

Great job guys, I have that same love/hate relationship with Zumba, so I guess that might be the norm.

  • It'll get better the more you do it! As long as you're having fun that's all that matters :)
