I really don't think it's a big deal.  It's only natural that a bunch of ladies around the same age are going to talk about similar things.  Be it babies, health and fitness, decorating, food, etc.  Yes, there are separate boards for all these things, but most of us like the close knit feel of the local board.  If you don't want to read a certain post, don't open it.  No one is forcing you to read it.  I think this whole policing what people post on here is getting way out of hand.

Can I ask an honest question?  Did something happen over the weekend and suddenly a lot of nesties are trying to lose weight?  I know there were a few of us progressively trying, and I noticed a couple more in the 10 things post, but I didn't think it was an epidemic?  It seems half of the weight loss comments come from PG or just-had-a-baby nesties who are wanting to lose pregnancy weight.  I scrolled through the past 2 pages of posts, and didn't see any posts with H&F or weight loss titles.  Maybe I am missing it?  I'd be happy to remove my ticker if it's offending someone.

I agree with Loki.  I haven't seen anybody obsessing over it and maybe they should just get tagged if others don't want to read about it. Some of us are interested.
