Monkey themed Baby Shower
My sister just had her first baby, a boy. He was born 6 weeks early, so we were not able to have the shower beforehand. But we are planning to have a "Welcome to the world" party. Co-ed BBQ. Does anyone have any cute/fun ideas? The shower is going to be a monkey theme.

My daughters first birthday was a monkey theme- we did a similar cake to the one was that was posted above- 3 tiered fondant cake with polka dots with a monkey on the top. If you go to pinkcakebox.com- they have great monkey cakes- lots of ideas there.
We also had a banana smoothies- people loved those. I made chocolate monkey lollipops as favors, with tags that said "Thanks for swingin by". I ordered the majority of my monkey stuff on etsy, there is a lot to choose from. I chose a color scheme and then added in monkey stuff here and there, I didn't want it over the top monkey.
