bed and breakfast recs

DH and I are going to go away over night this summer for our 3yr ann. We plan on going during the week one bc I am sure that is all that is left and it will be cheaper. We love staying at bed and breakfast. We don't really have a location in mind but our last two stays at a B&B was not great..okay but not worth the money spent. This will be my first night away from Allie so it better be good..lol!! Any suggestions?

We loved the Chapman Cottage Inn in York, ME.  We stayed there three years ago, but I'm pretty sure it's the same owners, so it should still be great.  We stayed in a room that had a jacuzzi tub and fireplace.  The breakfasts were amazing and we even ate dinner there one night and it was really good.
We liked the location because it was close to Kittery, Ogunquit and Kennebunkport.

  • How much do you want to pay and how far away do you want to go?   Oh and are you looking for lots of action around you or would you want to go for a hike or just do nothing but relax?
  • I love Captain Lord Mansion in Kennebunkport.
