It's not in that are but La Triestina in Congers in Rockland is amazing food. DH and I love it so much. Yes our wedding was there but the food is awesome. I'm a pasta snob so if I eat it, it must be good lol.
Also, Spiga on Central Ave in Scarsdale.

Haha thanks for all the recs they will come in handy. His grandfather was off to make sure he didn't want any of the specials they were offering tonight before we decide if we are going out definitely but we will in the future so we will be going to these places.
JSweetie - I keep meaning to go to La Triestina based on your rave reviews!!! I will have to check it out asap.
I'm pretty sure the place you're talking about is the new assisted living complex that just opened up around the corner from me.
another good one to add to the list is Spacarelli's in Millwood. It is just fantastic

More causal but very, very good is a newer place that just opened up in croton (very close to the assisted living place) is TK Casquarelli. it's right next door to shop rite in croton. DH and I went there a couple weeks ago and it was amazing.

So if you actually don't wanna do Italian, I highly recommend Sweet Grass Grill on Main Street in Tarrytown.
Another Italian rec, pricey, but sooooo worth it, is Scaramellas on the Dobbs Ferry/Ardsley border. LOVE that place.
oooh yes!! How could I forget about this place. They just renovated and we like this place too. it's a bit fancier since the renovations and they have good italian.
