**MissButters*

How is Weight Watchers going for you so far? Do you like the program?

I just joined last Tuesday and I'm loving it. I'm down 3.4 lbs since I joined.

Re: **MissButters*

  • Hi!  So far, so good!  I'm down about 3 or so.  I made my weigh in day on Mondays (thinking that would help with the weekend), but I'm debating about switching it to Fridays.  I noticed from my weigh in Monday to yesterday morning I had a two pound drop.  But, knowing the weigh in was Monday did help me during the weekend not indulge too much.

The only thing I am not sure about is tracking activity points daily or weekly (so if I get two points on a Monday should I only be able to use them Monday or is it OK to be able to use the activity points anytime during the week not just the day you earn them) and if I should use daily points or activity points first.

  • Yeah, I'm not so sure about the activity points tracking either. I think if you earn them and log them on one day, you should be able to use them any day. I'm not 100% sure that's how it works, though. I would definitely use the daily points before I cut into the activity points.

I really love the weekly points. I'm surprised I didn't end up using all of them over the weekend. I think I had like 5 left, which is good, I guess.

What have you been eating for snacks? I've been sticking to mainly fruit in the morning and greek yogurt in the afternoon, but the fruit in the morning doesn't really fill me up. I need to add something to it, I think.

  • I have a weird eating schedule (I work form home).  I usually have breakfast around 10am (steel oats with pumpkin) and then lunch around 1pm.  So, I usually don't have any snacks in the morning.  In the afternoon I usually have an apple and then some sort of greek yogurt with fresh fruit (sometime frozen peaches which I have microwaved for a few minutes to make them soft and warm) or cottage cheese.  We don't eat dinner until close to 8pm, so I really am having a hard time between lunch and dinner.  Maybe try a piece of reduced fat cheese with the fruit in the morning?  I love an apple and string cheese!

    Cute dog by the way!!

  • Thanks! She's our little rescue pup. She's hysterical.

I think I'll pick up some string cheese at the store tonight to go along with my morning snack.

I wish I had your schedule! I'm out of the house by 5:15am. So I usually eat breakfast at around 7 or so. I can sometimes hold off on lunch until 1. I eat a snack before I leave work and then I'm usually ready for dinner by 6.

  • I'm usually up by 6:15 or so.  But then by the time I work out or walk the dog, shower, have a cup of coffee or two, it's 10am before I'm hungry.  I think the coffee keeps the munchies away (probably not the healthiest thing in the world).
