favorite mac & cheese recipe

Looking for suggestions for Gianna"s birthday party this weekend. It's one of her favorites and I know most kids like it. She calls it mac o cheese....so cute!

I make this Rachael Ray mac n cheese all the time. So easy that I can't eat mac n cheese out of the box anymore. Leave the cayenne out if you don't like heat, but do not skip the nutmeg. I never bother with broiling it because I'm usually too hungry, so I just add all the cheese to the sauce.

I make this recipe, but I "lighten" it a little.  i use 2% cheese and milk instead of cream.  It is still not too light, but everyone loves it.
