Lowe's build and grow workshops?

has anyone done these?  some Saturdays, at 10 am, looks like they're free.  But it doesn't say what age range they want, so I'm not sure if William is too young to do this with Justin.  If I can't figure it out, I may sign them up and have them give it a whirl one Saturday...

The recommended age is something like 1st-5th grade, but it's not actually restricted to that age group. There are always lots of little kids there. Nicholas has been to almost every one since December and loves it. He knows Lowe's on sight now and asks to "make a race car" or "pound the nails".

  • My nephews have done them and love them.  The younger ones may not be able to do as much as the older ones but as long as there is one adult per kid he should be fine!  (I mean that as my sil has taken her 3 boys and has a hard time since she can't help each one) It would be a good daddy/son bonding time I would think!

  • We talked to a Lowe's employee a couple of weeks ago and he said he even brought his son when he was younger than ours.  He said they can't do much obviously, but it's still fun for kids of all ages.

  • COOL!  thanks for the info ladies!  there's a plane one in a few weeks, then in July a tow truck.  Pretty awesome if you're my William.  :)
