This month's book is The Ghost Writer (previously published at The Ghost) by Robert Harris...also a major motion picture starring hotties Peirce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor.
I literally bought it yesterday and started it on the plane this morning, so this weekend is a little ambitious for me to have read it and watched the movie.
So...when's a good saturday/sunday afternoon for you? And should we pick a different meeting spot? I love the coffee shop, but it's always packed.
ETA - I changed next month's book...and since so far MeggyO and I are the only two reading them, I figure no one would mind.
Upcoming books:
June: The Butcher and the Vegetarian by Tara Austen Weaver
July: Unfamiliar Fishes by Sarah Vowell (out March 22 - ftr, she does her own narrating for the audiobook...which is bound to make it even more awesome.)
Aug: Smoking Seventeen - the newest Stephanie Plum - out June 21
Sept: One of Our Thursdays is Missing - Jasper Fforde (a Thursday Next novel, out March 2)
Oct: The Poisoner's Handbook
Nov: An Offering of Leaves: Ruth Lauer-Manenti
Dec: we'll take off due to the holidays. This can be revisited later.
Re: May Book Club (edited)
The weekend of the 28th/29th works for me. I just started the book yesterday!
I have no idea where else to go...Do we want to go someplace a bit closer to you?
That's a good weekend.
The 21/22 we're going to try to get to Maker Faire, so one of those days is out.

I have not read it, yet, but I think you should! Then you can weigh in on how accurate it is

The weekend of the 28th and we haven't decided where, yet.
It looks like (unless someone is going to jump in and say they're coming) it'll just be you, MeggyO, and me...unless you're out of town. So we can figure out where we feel works best.
