Also, I was curious if you could fit both of your dog crates in the back?

I'm so in love with it - it's just so pretty! And I came from a car that shook when going faster than 50 MPH with manual locks and windows, so it just feels "fancy" to me.
We can't fit both crates side by side in the back like we were envisioning - it's about an inch and a half too narrow. As we started to do the math on vehicles that could actually fit that way, we were getting into huge SUVs and mini-vans, and we didn't want to get something that big.
We might either get a smaller crate for one of them, or put one in a crate and the other in a seatbelt harness on the back seat. We could also fold down both parts of the back seat and fit the crates that way as long as we don't have any other passengers with us.
We've done this before with success. FWIW, I bought one of those seatbelt harnesses and my dog chewed through it in about twenty seconds. She likes to be able to look out all of the different windows. And she is a spazz.
