So today was a bit of a scare. Ry thought he was having a heart attach this AM. He had tightness in the chest, couldn't breath deep, dizzy, nauseous, tingling in hands, sweating uncontrollably and chills and also felt a bit faint. I was at Meijer's when it happened and he called me during it to see when I was coming home. I got home and he was laying in bed cold to the touch and his pulse was slow.
He was starting to feel a bit better by the time I got to him but I made him call the Dr. Not easy since we don't have insurance for either of us. Dr saw him right away and ran an EKG and diagonsed Bradycardia. Basicly his resting heart rate was to slow. It was resting at a 45 when it should be at a 60. They ran the EKG with him laying down and standing. Standing he was fine, but laying down it dropped into the 40's again.
He's ok now, still a bit tired. The DR isn't what sure what caused this as nothing in his history would have pointed towards something like this. As Dr said Ryan is incredibly healthy with a good diet and regular exercise. We have a follow up appointment next week to see if anything changed.
I hope all goes well and this was just a fluke, b/c without insurance we can't afford the test they would want/have to do. DR said a stress test alone would be $1500 and just today's visit was $130+.
Really need a ton of thoughts and prayers girl. Today scared me.
