Which would you pick?
Next summer (2012) I am going away with my dad, I was supposed to go away this summer (cruise to japan, china, korea) but I got pregnant and plans went on hold.
The book for the next set of trips are out, I would go away for the second set so it would be summer. They are all inclusive and free:)
#1 Budapest, Hungary 8 days
#2 Berlin, Germany 9 days
#3 Mediterranean Cruise (9 days) with stops: Barcelona, Naples/Pompeii, Rome, Florence/Pisa, Villefrance, Marseille
Re: If you had a choice...
THIS!! But I've been to Italy and fell in love and cannot wait to go back, so I may be a bit biased

Bwahahaa. Are we married to the same men? C would say Germany, I'd say #3 (we'd end up going to Germany though...and I think we may next Spring)
Is this your first time visiting all of these countries? I think the length of the ports of call could not do justice to number 3 if you haven't been to all of those cities at least once.
I would choose 1 or 2 (only if you could travel outside of Berlin during the 8 days).
Like everyone else, #3 ONLY because it is my hearts dream to get to the Med, especially Italy.
I wouldn't turn down Germany either.
Hello. I've waited here for you. Everlong<3<br>
With Italy... My parents went April 08 for 48hours. My grandma died while there.
My mom refuses to go back ever. My dad is Italian and would love to go.
My DH has been to some places in Italy with the military and has no interest in going back ever. So this would be my only chance for that.
I am though 50% German... hmmm
Thanks for the input and reasons, I will totally let you know what is decided:)
I'd pick 3. For me, the other two are too mush time in one destination.
I have never been to Hungary but I'm not too interested to go, have been to Bavaria which is awesome but I'm not sure I'd like northern Germany, and I have been on basically the same Med Cruise about 10 years ago. I loved it and thought it was a good introduction to each place. You defnitely don't have enough time to see each city but you get a good taste of where you'd like to return to.
