Exciting news on DH's job front

He works "retail" at a big box home improvement warehouse (you can assume which one if you wish ). He has worked for the company for YEARS! He has been jerked around on his schedule since 2005 when he graduated college. He would work every shift under the sun, and it was never predictable. And sometimes they would change it without telling him. Fun stuff fun stuff. THIS morning they finally offered him a position that will be M-F! The hours will be an adjustment of 4am-1pm. If this is the position I think it is he will be responsible for doing the price changes and all that jazz.

Now to work on getting my schedule under control and maybe we can live like alot of the world

That's awesome! I'm impressed he stuck it out that long. The one major thing I always disliked about retail was the inconsistent hours.

Well the good things helped with the inconsistant hours. They are good about giving him his requested time off, pays decent.

Oh boy, I use to work random unpredictable hours too. It sucks. So hard to find a routine. Congrats to dh!

That's so great! I remember when Corey switched from shift work to a standard M-F schedule- the stability made such a difference! Hope it works out well for you guys.

OMG K - that is amazing news!!! I hope that he'll get another pay raise soon too.  I hope that this means more time together for you two.  : )
