Louisiana Flooding - good thoughts needed
Ok Nesties, I need some of those powerful good thoughts.
My SIL lives in Morgan City, Louisiana (the one whose daughter is 3months younger than Maddy) and they are facing some major flooding. The big problem is if the state/city/whoever decides to open the Morganza spillway to ease flooding on the Atchafalaya River- then they will go from a small flood threat of 5 feet to a guaranteed threat of up to 10-15 feet. Her husband is an off-shore diver/welder who got called back from work when they need the money, they don't know what the evacuation decision is yet, but there is a meeting with the mayor tonight to find out.
So any good, dry, safe thoughts you can all send her way are appreciated. I do not understand intentionally flooding cities like this.... sucks.

it's actually the one that usually drives me insane but she's been better lately - I think becoming a mom and some reality checks have made her less annoying to me :-)
