I've had a Droid 2 Global for about 3 weeks now, but the battery life is horrible... is there any way to improve that? For example, I charged it all last night (10:30 pm to 5:30 am), and it's only got about 20% left at 1 pm. I've checked my email about 5 times, made 2 calls, & read off the nook application for about 15 minutes. That's all! How can I make the battery last longer?? TIA!
Re: Droid battery problems?
I have the (free) Advanced Task Killer app on my droid. I've noticed that apps will sometimes randomly run in the background regardless of whether I've used them or not which drains the battery quickly. App killer is an easy way to kill them all at once.
I have a Droid Eris and can typically go 2 days before charging.
Smartphones suck for battery life. I'd just buy an extra charger for your car and your office, and then install a task killer program or battery life program like pp said.
I have the Droid (original) and have to charge it a couple times a day, it's because the batteries are so small they can't fully support the phone running. Design flaw.
