mh is thinking of interviewing for a job up there. he told me indianapolis but this looks to be an hour away...i know nothing about indy & don't mean to offend but it seems to me that an hour away is probably pretty suburban/ borderline rural? do a lot of people live in between indy & there? if so, any specific areas that are nice/good schools/nice homes/etc? just for looking around online & stuff to check out. any insight would be great. I am trying to be supportive if he goes this route but we're northeasterners and I like the conveniences of urban areas (things like non-chain restaurants, shopping areas that aren't malls, etc) so I'm having trouble wrapping my head around an area I don't know at all.thanks!
Re: xp: pendleton IN?
i actually grew up there! it is a small town, rural community, but only 30 min from Indy if you take 69 into Indy. pendleton has good schools, great teachers!! as for what is between there, noblesville and fishers are both between there and have good school systems...and they are much more urban areas!
pendleton is also about a half hour from muncie, indiana which has a lot of stuff.
